Hours Of Operation

You can find the hours of operation for our various facilities and lifts below. Snowy Range Ski Area is officially open as of December 10, 2021 for the 2021-2022 season. Our projected closing date for the season is set for Sunday, April 10, 2022. If you have any questions please give us a call or open a chat session (when available) by clicking on the chat icon in the lower right-hand corner of the website. We hope to see you at Snowy Range Soon!

LIFT

Snowy Range Ski Area is open daily with our lift operating hours of 9am-4pm.

LODGE

DAILY LODGE HOURS 
Our lodge is open 8am-4:30pm. Please note the lodge opens approximately an hour before the lifts and slopes for your convenience in purchasing tickets, obtaining rentals, signing in for lessons, etc….the lifts do not spin until 9am!

COVID-19 Policies:

For the 2021/2022 Season include a 45 minute limit per person in the lodge; coolers may be brought in for dining but can not be stored throughout the day; personal belongings may not be stored throughout the lodge unless it is in a locker; all Unvaccinated guests are required to wear a face mask while indoors. These policies are subject to change throughout the season.

HOLIDAY HOURS

OPEN ALL MAJOR WINTER HOLIDAYS, DURING THE SKI SEASON.

Enjoy Snowy Range 7 days a week including all holidays. Our lifts operate 9am-4pm daily through early-April.

  • Easter (if it falls during season)

LOST AND FOUND
Did you set something down or leave it behind? Our lost and found is located downstairs in the lodge at the information desk. We keep lost and found items for 72 hours.

Mountain Statistics

You will find Snowy Range Ski Area nestled in the beautiful Medicine Bow National Forest. We hope you make our backyard your playground.

Regardless of your experience level, you’ll find the perfect runs, from downhill screamers to casual glides through the tree-lined forest. Our 33 trails serve all abilities from beginner to expert: 10 beginners, 12 intermediate and 8 expert trails. Check out our trail map here.

Our four Chairlifts Sundance, Virginian, Pioneer, Chute and The Colt (our covered surface lift) will move you up the mountain quickly keeping you skiing instead of standing.

Ski and Snowboard group and private lessons are available whether it is your first time or you have been on the slopes your whole life.
