At an hour and 45 minutes drive from the CSU campus, Snowy Range Ski Area offers 250 acres of skiing with nearly 1000 feet of vertical. Our intermediate mountain makes a perfect setting for first time skiers but allows for fun and excitement at any skill level.

Getting to Snowy Range From Fort Collins
- Take North Shields St., north out of town to US-287 north
- Follow US-287 north to WY-130 west
- Travel on WY-230 west to Snowy Range Road outside of Laramie
- Follow Snowy Range Road to the ski area
Getting Here Is Easy!

When lunch comes around, grab a tray and head over the Happy Jack Cafe where a plethora of food awaits in the classic ski area cafeteria. Looking to catch the game and grab a beer? Step into the Libby Creek Bar and Grill where a full menu and our full service staff will make sure you are satiated.
Not looking to spend too much money? Pack your lunch and enjoy a picnic on our sunny deck. Snowy Range allows our guest to bring their coolers into our large, scenic dining room, whom some refer to as, “The Beach”.
